1 February 2013 - Back from the dead (in a sense)

Well, much like a bad penny I keep showing up unexpectedly. Took a bit of time off to sort through issues ranging from the digital to the personal, and I've come out the other side, battered and bruised, but much happier and stronger than before. I'm making some changes to the GNReader (cosmetic to come later), but the main one is that I'm going to be slowing down the post frequency for the time being - On the first of the month, I'll be posting a new update to coincide with my self-imposed challenge: in 2013, I'm going to read 1000 graphic novels. As of this posting (1 February 2013), I am at 84 books. So, what I'm planning on doing is highlighting certain books from the previous month, discussing plans for the next month, and other tidbits of information. As I'm still trying to work out the bugs between this computer and blogger (Live Writer doesn't want to cooperate with this outdated technology), I'll have to hold off on some of the reviews until I get some newer tech. In the meantime, if you want to follow my progress, you can check it out here. As for this month, since it's February, and February starts with an 'F', I'm going to read all of Bill Willingham's Fables series, including the spin-offs Jack of Fables and Fairest, as well as 1,001 Nights of Snowfall and Wolves of the Heartland. If there's any titles you feel I need to read, or you would like to discuss something I've read, please do not hesitate. I can be reached via Twitter, Facebook, this blog, or if all else fails, hit my email. lankylurkr@gmail.com
